A handyman service for South Gippsland

Leongatha Handyman was set up to do one thing well: the small and medium jobs that keep homes working. The door that sticks every winter. The cracked cornice above the window. The gate that drags on the path. The shower silicone that has gone black. The TV still on the floor. These jobs matter to the people who live with them, but they are often too small for a builder and outside the work of most trades.

We work across Leongatha, Korumburra, Mirboo North, Meeniyan, Inverloch and the farming districts in between. South Gippsland homes have their own character: old weatherboards on hillsides, farmhouses exposed to the wind, holiday houses by the coast and newer homes on the edges of growing towns. They also share the same challenges: plenty of rain, reactive clay, salt air on the coast and tall trees inland.

How we work

• Itemised quotes. Every job on your list is quoted separately, so you decide what goes ahead.
• Proper preparation. Patches are primed, silicone is fully removed before resealing, fixings suit the wall.
• Clean and tidy. Drop sheets down, dust vacuumed, offcuts taken away.
• Honest advice. If a job needs a licensed trade or a specialist, we say so.
• Photos. For landlords, holiday house owners and anyone not at home, we send photos of finished work.

What we do not do

We do not do electrical, plumbing or gas work, structural building, roofing at height, asbestos removal or tree felling. We do not claim to. We will tell you when you need a licensed trade.
