We are based around Leongatha and work across the surrounding towns, villages and farming districts: north into the Strzelecki hills at Mirboo North and Poowong, west along the highway to Korumburra, Loch and Nyora, east to Meeniyan and Dumbalk, and south to the coast at Inverloch and Tarwin Lower. Leongatha

The main town and shire seat, with older weatherboards near the centre, brick veneer suburbs, newer estates and farms on every side.

Korumburra

A hilly former coal mining town with steep blocks, character homes, Coal Creek and quick access to the highway.

Mirboo North

A ridge-top town among tall trees on the Grand Ridge, still recovering from the February 2024 storm.

Meeniyan

An arts-minded village on the rail trail and the Tarwin River flats, on the road to Wilsons Promontory.

Inverloch

A beach town on Anderson Inlet with permanent residents, holiday houses and the salt, sand and wind that come with the coast.

Koonwarra

A village on the highway and rail trail between Leongatha and Meeniyan, surrounded by farms.

Dumbalk

A farming community in the Tarwin Valley east of Meeniyan.

Tarwin Lower

A river town near Anderson Inlet, with Venus Bay’s holiday homes just down the road.

Nyora

A growing town at the western edge of the district with new homes and larger blocks.

Loch

A heritage village in the hills with an old main street, cottages and lifestyle blocks.

Poowong

A hilltop dairy town north of Korumburra with exposed farmhouses and big views.
